I'm not sure I had even mentioned the trip on here, but I was planning on going to Costa Rica in June with some other teachers. As of today, the trip has been cancelled and I am feeling down and out. I'm prone to yearn for adventure and excitement and Costa Rica was the cure for that itch this year.
So, where should I go now? What should we plan? I need to pull myself up by my bootstraps and get crackin' on a new opportunity/journey! Stay tuned :)
And I hate goodbyes! Aunt Beth and Uncle John just came for a really nice overnight and then they left this morning. It flew by, but we sure had fun! They taught us Longastrasse (Sp?)... such a great game! Thanks for stopping by- we love visitors :)

I'm so, so sorry your trip was cancelled! My aunt and uncle went to Costa Rica last year, and it sounded like a wonderful experience. Hmmm...have to think of an alternative...
ReplyDeleteHow about another trip to the great white North? We could go to Denali, Anchorage, and try mountain biking at Alyeska. Plus, by then my pottery wheel WILL be set up. A Kathe-Marianne va-cay?

WHat a great, great visit we had! THank you for your hospitality. And that was some Longestrasse game (especially since I finally won!). I'm sorry about your Costa Rica trip. We just talked about that this morning! Hmmm..... Keep your eyes and ears open and I bet something will pop up. In the meantime, Marianne might have one idea :)
