Though it's been incredibly chilly today, two things have warmed me up. Both happened during my grocery-shopping experience this morning.
1) A Kroger employee handed me a bouquet of Tiger Lillies to take home for free (they happened to have been my wedding flowers!)
2) An elderly woman in the parking lot offered to take my cart back with hers, since she remembered what it was like to try to do that with her own four children in tow.
Such warmth and kindness. Time to pass it on :)
